In a statement, the Ottawa Police Service said an officer spotted a vehicle travelling south on Bayshore Drive in the city’s west end at about 10:15 pm on March 16. Police said the officer tried to intercept the car, which had been reported stolen earlier that day, but alleged the driver did not stop.
