La mairesse de Harrington, Gabrielle Parr, n’est pas surprise par les critiques à l’égard d’un projet récréatif municipal proposé le long de la rivière Rouge.
« Ai-je été surpris ? Non, a déclaré la mairesse Parr lors d’un entretien téléphonique le 1er février. Ai-je été déçu… Hops, yeast, water and malted barley along with some beer magic and a healthy dose of skill have combined to give local microbrasserie Brauwerk Hoffman four medals at the recently held Ontario Brewing Awards.
The brewery and brewpub, located on Industrielle Road in Clarence-Rockland, won a gold medal… When seven-year-old Bobby Morrison noticed that his local newspaper, Le Reflet, didn’t feature any comic strips, he decided to take matters into his own hands. Combining his love of storytelling and humour, Bobby created his own comic strip and submitted it to the paper. Problem solved!
