The Russell County OPP detachment in Embrun received a call 9 a.m., August 6, about a suspicious person in the Castlebeau Street neighbourhood in Embrun.
A man tried twice to enter a residence in the neighbourhood before leaving.
A surveillance camera took photos of the individual but his face was not visible to the camera. Police have released a description of the person who is wanted for questioning.
The person is white male, with a thin build, and his height is between five-foot-four and five-foot-eight, or between 162 centimetres and 172 centimetres tall.
At the time he was wearing dark track pants, black shoes, and a tie-dyed hoodie that had a logo of either a dragon or a lion on both the front and the back.
