Plans for the Burton Road roundabout project will become part of the 2021 capital works project list for UCPR council’s budget discussion this autumn. The postponement frees up $1.1 million in the public works budget for 2020.

Part of the money will be reassigned to other capital works projects confirmed for this year. The rest may be reallocated to other departments as part of the revision of the 2020 budget due to unforeseen impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic situation on UCPR financial priorities.
