The site is accepting yard waste only. That includes grass and hedge clippings, garden waste like weeds, and leaves and small branches.
Grass clippings and leaves must be packed inside paper sacks, not plastic bags. Branches for drop-off cannot be longer than four feet with a maximum diameter of four inches.
Residents bringing in yard waste for drop-off must present their driver’s licence to the station attendant for proof of residence. They are urged to remain in the vehicle when doing so. They should only exit the vehicle only to deposit yard waste.
A limited number of vehicles will be allowed on the site at the same time in order to comply with social distancing rules under the provincial pandemic protection plan.
The transfer station will be open to the public on Wednesdays from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
