Conflit familial
Une situation de conflit familial a donné lieu à de multiples accusations contre un homme de 39 ans de Casselman. La police a enquêté sur un incident domestique sur la rue Principale, à Casselman, le 2 février, en début d’après-midi. L’homme arrêté est maintenant accusé de méfait de moins de 5000$, de manquement à un engagement, de séquestration, de vol de véhicule à moteur, d’agression, de vol de plus de 5000$ et d’avoir négligé de fournir les nécessités de la vie. – Gregg Chamberlain
Police impersonator
Impersonating a police officer is one of the charges facing a 39-year-old Casselman man after police investigated a residential disturbance complaint, February 5. The man is also charged with making threats, breaking-and-entering, mischief over $5000 value, and general vandalism. Shoplifting charge
A 76-year-old Russell woman is charged with theft under $5000 value following OPP investigation of a shoplifting complaint, January 29, at a store in Embrun. The woman is scheduled for a February provincial court appearance in L’Orignal.– Gregg Chamberlain
impaired charges
A sobriety check in a local restaurant parking lot, in Rockland, resulted in charges. A 32-year-old Rockland man is now charged with operation of a vehicle while impaired and while having a blood-alcohol level exceeding 80 millilitres, driving while having an open container of liquor in the vehicle, and driving with a suspended licence.
