Saken Music, a non-profit promoter of live music in Vankleek Hill, announced the launch of its new internet radio program, Music with MisterD. Acoustic musician and cover artist Ken Duff will interview musicians, venues, and concert organizers from the region to raise visibility for those who have been especially affected by the pandemic.
“The purpose is to promote live music in the identified territory with venues and with the performing musicians,” said Duff in an email. “This will be done through communication of planned events, relevant newsworthy information and online interviews with both performers and venue operators.”
The first three guests planned are Karen Morand, Brian Gallagher, and Lynne Hanson, who will be chatting with Duff about all manner of music and industry topics. Morand’s episode is already live with links to the talk found on Saken Music’s website and Facebook page.
