Just after 8 a.m., a call went out about a house fire at 3420 Greenlane Road in East Hawkesbury Township.
Firefighters from the township fire department were joined by their counterparts in Vankleek Hill and L’Orignal to try and extinguish a fire in a two-storey house.
At 11:30 a.m., firefighters were still dealing with the situation. At present there are no reports of any injuries and no information whether anyone was inside the house at the time of the fire. Further details to follow as they become available.
