Police have arrested and charged a Clarence-Rockland man who is already facing similar sexual assault charges from last year.
Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) carried out warrant in Ottawa and arrested Michael Woloschuk, 44, of Clarence-Rockland on Tuesday, March 5, in relation to a historical sexual assault and child luring investigation, according to the OPP.
Woloschuk was charged with three counts of sexual assault on a person under the age of 16, three counts of sexual interference, two counts of luring a person under the age of 16 and one count of failing to comply with a release order.
The Rockland man was arrested and charged for similar offences in August 2023. That case remains before the courts.
Woloschuk is to be held in custody until a March 12 bail hearing to be attended by video call from the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre.
