Employment Services Centre of Prescott-Russell (CSEPR) has relocated to be in the same building of Valoris for Children and Adults of Prescott-Russell and expand its services to residents of Russell, Embrun, Casselman, Vars, Limoges and eastern Ottawa.
As of Feb. 22, CSEPR have opened their new doors to English and French speaking clients of the region. The new space allows customers to receive the full range of employment services, including access to a new resource center for their job search.
« Valoris is a multiservice organisation that serves all kinds of customers,” said Caroline Arcand, executive director of CSEPR. “But what Valoris’s clientele has in common (with us), with the possible exception of children aged 15 and under, is that they’re all people who could be in the job market or who could improve their current job. »
Available by appointment with CSEPR’s employment counselors, the new location houses the Virtual Career Exploration Laboratory which lets clients explore more than 30 different trades and lets them make an informed choice before beginning their studies.
The not-for-profit organization has three offices across the region. Their aim is to follow support all types of clienteles in search of work or reintegrating into the workforce, as well as support regional employers with recruitment. The Centre offers several different tools and resources to its clientele, including several subsidized programs.
The new CSEPR Embrun offices are located at 8 Valoris Street, Embrun, and are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
