The Falcons FUN3-Piecki ringette team flew away from the Greater Sudbury Ringette Tournament in mid-November with a perfect five-zero win-loss record, starting with a 4-2 win over the tournament host team.
The four-day tournament saw the Falcons slam Barrie 5-3 and West Ferris 7-2 on their second and third day in Sudbury. The Sunday finals schedule found the Falcons dropping West Ferris again 7-1 in the semi round to win the chance for a last showdown against Barrie in the afternoon finals match
Barrie took the lead in the opening period but the Falcons overcame their two-point deficit during the second period and pulled into the lead by two goals as the two teams prepared for the third period. The Falcons finished the game with a 7-5 gold-medal win against Barrie.
The Falcons joined teams at the Arnprior-McNab Tournament over the December 2 weekend. They beat Arnprior-Pope 4-3 in the Friday opening round. Saturday morning Clarence-Rockland hammered Metcalfe-Beuman 8-1. Their second game for the Saturday schedule saw the Falcons do the same against West Ottawa-Hamilton 8-1.
Clarence-Rockland brought back gold again from the Arnprior tournament, beating Arnprior-Lotan in the Sunday finals 7-1.
Playing on the Falcons FUN3-Piecki team this season are Evelyne Nezan, Aoife Ruddy, Breanna Sandercock, Ryan Danis, Taylor Hamilton, Alexia Ladouceur, Neve Boulianne, Noémie Piecki, Dahlia Boulianne, Hopelyn Gaudreau, Emelia Peloquin, and Axelle Boulianne. Coaching the team are Luke Piecki, Kassandra Piecki, Luc Ladouceur, Alain Boulianne, and Chris Nezan.
