Many different activities were offered to parade goers. A Beaver Tail truck was on site in downtown Vankleek Hill. Story Time, in both French and English, was read at Champlain Public Library before the parade got underway. The library also gave a Christmas arts and crafts lesson. The Review Newspaper also invited children to their office to write letters to Santa Claus.
The Vankleek Hill foodbank, helped by VCI student volunteers, collected donations and gave away free hot chocolate to help people stay warm during the parade.
