The Embrun Panthers lost their games against the Ottawa West Golden Knights on Thursday, October 24, and the Renfrew Timberwolves on Friday, October 25, but win against the Athens Aeros on Sunday, October 27.  

The first game was a four-on-five loss for the Panthers.  

In the first period, both teams score two goals each. The Panthers scored the first goal of the game by Marc-Antoine Petrut, with help from Camden Cunningham-Fetch and Maxime Carriere, after three minutes and 46 seconds. The Golden Knights score a goal before the Panthers score their second at 10 minutes and 25 seconds, by Wyatt Leblanc, with help from Cameron Grant and Yanick Blanchard. The Golden Knights tied the game with a second goal as well.  

The second period contains three goals for the Golden Knights.  

The third period saw two Panther goals. The first was by Liam Murdoch, with help from Nicholas Evangelho and Yanik Major, at six minutes and 15 seconds. Three minutes later, Owen Raine scored the final goal of the game, with help from Leblanc, after nine minutes and four seconds.  

The Panther goal was saved by Tristan Trudel during the game.  

A total of 13 penalties were given during the game, seven of which went to the Panthers. 

Friday’s game ended with six goals for the Panthers and four for the Timberwolves.  

The first period saw two goals for the Timberwolves and one for the Panthers separating them. Murdoch, with the help of Blanchard, scores the first Panther goal after seven minutes and 19 seconds.  

The second period begins with a goal for the Timberwolves. Followed by a goal by Marc-Antoine Petrut, with help from Murdoch and Blanchard, after five minutes and 39 seconds. The Timberwolves score another goal before the Panthers catch up with another goal. Blanchard scores, with help from Xavier Boulanger and Murdoch, after 14 minutes. The Timberwolves finish the period with their fifth goal.  

In the third period, Boulanger, with help from Blanchard and Petrut, scores after four minutes and 15 seconds. The Timberwolves score their own goal as the Panthers score two more, tying the game. Evangelho, with the help of Murdoch and Ethan Lamey, scores one after nine minutes and three seconds. Leblanc scored the final goal of the period, with the help of Cameron Grant and Ryan Pomerleau, after 13 minutes and 59 seconds. This brings the two teams to six goals apiece.  

The Timberwolves won the game in overtime with a goal. 

The Panther goal was kept by Cédric Nadon in the first and second periods, then Tristan Trudel kept the goal after the Timberwolves’ first goal in the second period until the end of the game.  

In all, 17 penalties were given during the game, seven of them to the Panthers.  

The third game, on Sunday October 27, was a victory for the Panthers over the Athens Aeros.  

No goals were scored in the first period.  

In the second period, Blanchard scored a goal, assisted by Murdoch, after 17 minutes and 22 seconds.  

The third period saw another goal for the Panthers by Murdoch after 17 minutes and 19 seconds.  

The Panther goal was guarded by Tristan Trudel throughout the game.  

A total of 12 penalties were given. The Panthers received six.  

The Panthers return to the ice at the Embrun Arena on Friday, November 1, at 8 p.m., against the Ottawa West Golden Knights.
