Russell Rezones to Permit New Day Care Centre

On May 13, Russell Council approved to change the zoning from “Residential 1 (R1)” and “Flood Plain (FP)” to “Institutional – exception 3 (I-3)” and “Flood Plain (FP)” to permit a Day Care Centre. The centre will be located at 766 Notre Dame Street in Embrun across the McDonald’s and Tim Hortons on the main street. The land has a total area of 0.25 hectares (or 0.63 acres) where four parking spaces will be available onsite.
