Nationals tame Wolves in six games

The Rockland Nationals are on to round two of the CCHL playoffs.

The Nats beat the Renfrew Wolves in game six of their first round playoff matchup by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday, April 2, clinching the series four games to two.

Kyle Leonard scored twice for the Nats, including the game winning goal. Jaden Davis scored the Nats other goal.

Leonard was named the game’s first star, while Rockland netminder Benoit Forget, who stopped 33 of 34 shots he faced, was named the game’s second star.

Leornard also chipped in with an assist.

The Nats second round opponent is yet to be determined.
