The Russell Association of Performing Arts (RAPA) is holding auditions for its newest production.

RAPA is holding auditions for Bob’s Your Elf, its latest Christmas production, on August 24 and 26. Show dates are tentatively planned for November 29 to December 2.

“We’ve had an awful lot of fun putting on a couple of adult-oriented shows, but we’re due for a show that the whole family can attend,” said RAPA head Dave Rama. “We think you’ll love it!”

Bob’s Your Elf by Norm Foster is a festive Christmas comedy which sees the surly elf Bob get banished from the North Pole due to his bad attitude. To teach Bob a valuable lesson, Santa Claus sends him to a small town where he must assist a group of amateur actors in staging the greatest Christmas Pageant the community has ever seen. Bob has to learn how to get along with everyone while working alongside the small town’s misfits. This festive comedy, which will be directed by long-time RAPA member Bill McInnis, promises fun and laughter for whole family.
