Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the rest of the participants in Clarence-Rockland's Christmas Parade of Lights were greeted by droves of residents packing Laurier Street to catch a glimpse of the joyous annual holiday procession.

High winds delayed the parade, pushing it back a day to Sunday, but the crowds were unperturbed showing in great numbers to watch the brightly decorated trucks and trailers pass through the downtown.

Mayor Mario Zanth and city councillors were on hand to pass out candy canes and holiday cheer to kids and adults alike. Clarence-Rockland’s paramedic and fire services also took part in handing out holiday treat during the 55-float parade.
