The accident report was called in after 4 p.m. Police, paramedics, and firefighters arriving on the scene found a large truck upside down in the South Nation River.

The driver of the vehicle, a 27-year-old Rockland man, was pronounced dead on the scene. His name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
