The Hawkesbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three people following an alleged robbery in Champlain Township. Officers responded to a call at 3:40 a.m. on October 25 from a gas station on County Road 4, which reported that three people were demanding money and threatening violence.

Lisa Brenda Cummings, 33, from Champlain Township was charged with robbery with theft, possession of break-in instruments, two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000, and possession of meth and cocaine.

Emmanuelle Pharand, 33, from Hawkesbury was charged with robbery with theft, possession of break-in instruments, two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000, possession of meth and cocaine, flight from a peace officer, and driving while under suspension.

Finally, Ryan Parsons, 39, from Hawkesbury was charged with robbery with theft, possession of break-in instruments, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and over $5,000, three counts of failing to comply with a probation order, and possession of meth and cocaine.

Parsons was also charged in connection with a robbery from October 16, where a convenience store on John Street in Hawkesbury was held up. He was charged with two additional counts of failing to comply with a probation order and another count of robbery with theft.

All three were held in custody and appeared in court in L’Orignal for their bail hearing on October 25. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
