The Vankleek Hill Junior C Cougars take four points from a possible four over the weekend with dominant victories over Metcalfe Jets and St-Isidore Eagles.

The Cougars won 6-1 against the Metcalfe Jets on Saturday, and 5-0 against the St-Isidore Eagles on Sunday, placing them even on points in second place with South-Grenville Rangers and 2 points behind Gatineau Hull-Volant with a game in hand.

“It’s a good start, said head coach Franky Dopelhammer, but we didn’t play against the teams in front of us or near our position yet, so it’s still hard to situate where we stand.”

Dopelhammer says it will be easier to know where the team stands by the end of November, after playing both Gatineau and South-Grenville.
