Seven people injured in Alfred-Plantagenet crash

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were on the scene at the intersection of County Road 19 and 2 in Alfred-Plantagenet, where a serious crash left six people injured and a woman, 29, airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened around 1:40 p.m. on August 28.

“Hawkesbury OPP investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of County Road 19 and 2 in the Township of Alfred-Plantagenet,” the OPP Tweeted Sunday. “Intersection completely shut down for investigation.”

The intersection was later reopened for traffic.
