Vehicle with insecure load stopped in Hawkesbury

On July 6 at 4:40 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers pulled over a vehicle on McGill Street in Hawkesbury and charged two people inside with multiple offences. The driver was charged for having a table sticking out of the back of the vehicle. The passenger, who was sitting on the floor, was charged with not wearing a seatbelt and not occupying a proper seat.

The OPP would like to remind drivers to secure all items being transported by car and to always sit properly and wear a seatbelt.
