The Kin Club of Russell’s fourth iteration of the Catch the Ace lottery has concluded, the Ace of Spades going to one lucky resident.

Russell Township’s Jovette Drolet opened envelope #18 on April 10, revealing the Ace of Spades and claiming the jackpot prize. Drolet was awarded both the weekly prize and the jackpot for a total of $91,841. There were 40 envelopes left in the lottery at the time of her win.

A total of $130,000.00 will be split between the six worthy charities picked by the Kin Club: Good Neighbours Food Bank, the Kin Club’s Storage Centre For Local Service Clubs and Charities, Osgoode Care Centre, the Valoris Foundation, Victoria’s Quilts Canada, and the WDMH Foundation. The Kin Club thanks everyone who purchased a ticket, saying they couldn’t have done it without you.

The 5th Catch the Ace Lottery is already in the works. The Kin Club will notify residents as soon as tickets are available.
