The fundraiser was a huge success, and the food bank’s Mike McGurk was extremely happy with the donation. The owners of the Foodland, Sherry and Justin Phelan, were similarly happy with the amount and noted it’s quite the achievement for a small town like Vankleek hill.
Last year we raised $2852.01 and with rising food prices, we are happy we were able to donate way beyond our goal.
