Collier has seen the city through major floods, a cyberattack that left it without a website, and the debilitating COVID-19 pandemic. She was in charge of the municipality’s strategic plan and is responsible for overhauling management in city hall.
“I just wanted to say how fortunate we are to have had a CAO that was this dedicated. The city was not what it is today, seven years ago when we first started,” said mayor Mario Zanth. “(Collier) has built something, a foundation with the directors and the treasurer in place to make sure this city was on an incredibly strong foundation. I thank you sincerely Mrs. Collier for all your hard work and your dedication to the citizens of this city, and you will be missed.”
Council formally accepted her retirement at the April 4 regular meeting. Her retirement is slated to started on May 20.
