Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) has chosen to continue requiring full COVID-19 vaccination.

Although the provincial vaccine mandate for hospital workers is ending on March 14, the WDMH isn’t changing its policy regarding double vaccination. They will continue to require a full COVID-19 vaccination for anyone entering the hospital, although medical or human rights exemptions will still be respected.

“To maintain safety for patients, staff and visitors,” said Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) Communications Lead Jane Adams, “WDMH will continue to require full COVID-19 vaccination for all staff, physicians, volunteers, visitors, learners, and vendors.”
