SNC seeks summer students

The South Nation Conservation Authority (SNC) is taking applications this month from students seeking summer employment. The positions are based at the SNC office in Finch but may also include field work.

“We look forward to hiring young and enthusiastic students every summer,” stated John Mesman, SNC community lands and outreach liaison. “They are our future generation of leaders and will hopefully go on to become good environmental stewards.”

The SNC is hiring summer students for positions in its planning department, communications and outreach, water resource engineering, property management, and environmental stewardship. There may also be potential internships and co-op opportunities for recent university and college graduates, depending on available senior government-level support funding.

More information is at www.nation.on.ca/jobs. Application deadline is 8 a.m., January 24.
