Four vehicles stolen in Embrun and Casselman

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for assistance with an investigation into four separate motor vehicle thefts that occurred in Embrun and Casselman around the beginning of January. 

Two vehicles were stolen from two different residences in Casselman, one on Percy Street and another on Laflèche Boulevard, sometime after 8:00 p.m. on January 5. Two more vehicles were stolen from two residences on Centenaire Street and Fleurette Street in Embrun, sometime after 11:45 p.m. on January 7. 

The vehicles that were stolen are: a grey 2017 Toyota Highlander with Ontario licence plate CDAF 701; a silver 2017 Toyota Highlander with Ontario licence plate BAEA 140; a grey 2021 Toyota Tacoma with Ontario licence plate BK91543; and a grey 2021 Toyota Tacoma with New York licence plate HTD6813. 

Russell County OPP would like to encourage members of the public to review possible video footage or bring forward any evidence in these thefts. Citizens are also encouraged to take precautionary measures to make sure vehicles are properly secured.
