In an email from Prescott-Russell Residence Administrator Alexandre Gorman, the residence reported that a single case of COVID-19 has been found within the retirement home. As per the Ministry of Health guidelines, this is classed as an outbreak, and health measures have been implemented to contain the spread.
Until further notice, all group activities in the residence have been canceled, and only one caregiver will be allowed to visit the home for each resident at once. Two caregivers per resident can still be designated.
