Russell OPP to stuff a cruiser with food

Like a turkey, but with more iron in its diet.  

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Russell will be hosting a « Stuff a Cruiser » Food Drive on December 12. They’ll be accepting donations of non-perishable food items to stuff inside a police cruiser to try and fill it up to the sunroof. 

The event will take place in the parking lot of Parent’s Your Independent Grocer at 2737 Laurier Street in Rockland. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., members of the Russell County OPP will accepting donations of non-perishable items and stuffing them into a police cruiser. 

Whether the cruiser bursts or not, all donations will be given to the Rockland Food Bank, which is part of the Rockland Help Centre d’aide.
