Jean-Paul Bouffard, 73, suffered major injuries in the crash on Lafleche Sideroad shortly before 2:15 p.m. on Sunday. Prescott-Russell Emergency Medical Services rendered first-aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers from the Russell County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate the crash. The Nation Township Fire Department closed Route 900 W between Rocky Hill Road and County Road 12 for several hours on Sunday as officers investigated the scene.
