The hardworking local volunteer and community activist, winner of multiple volunteer awards, will be roasted and honoured for her extensive volunteerism in Russell Township. Funds raised at this event will be used toward a potential future aquacentre in Russell Township.
The event will be held at the Embrun Community Centre on November 30. Guests are encouraged to wear pink in recognition of all of Ivanski’s work on fundraising for and promoting public awareness of breast cancer research.
The doors open at 6 p.m. and the roast begins at 7 p.m. Foodland is supplying hors d’oeuvres for a fun and elegant evening, with many surprises and extras.
Further funds will be raised during the evening, with a live and a silent auction. Browsing of the auction items tables is encouraged between 6 and 7 p.m., as the auction will end at the end of the intermission.
Tickets can be purchased online on the Kin Club of Russell’s webpage.
