On July 5, at about 7 p.m., Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a domestic dispute on Adrien Street in Clarence-Rockland.
Their investigation revealed that an altercation between a man and a woman had taken place. A 59-year-old Clarence-Rockland woman was charged with one count of domestic mischief and one count of spousal assault. She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on July 17.
The very next day, officers responded to a domestic dispute call at around 3:30 p.m., on Powers Street. They subsequently arrested a 42-year-old Rockland man and charged him with one count of spousal abuse. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on August 7.
