The Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break and enter that occurred in Embrun and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals and vehicle involved.  

Police responded to a call for service at a business in Embrun on Thursday March 6, at approximately 5:43 a.m. Following an initial investigation, officers confirmed that a break and enter had taken place.  

The OPP is urging anyone who was in the area of Notre-Dame Street and St-Pierre/Ste-Marie Streets during the time of the incident and may have dashcam footage to come forward. Individuals with relevant information can contact the Russell County OPP at 613-443-4499 or the OPP Communication Centre at 1-888-310-1122, referencing occurrence #E250268383.  

For those wishing to remain anonymous, tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Informants may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.  

Police continue to investigate and are asking the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
