South Glengarry firefighter were called to the location at approximately 7:45 a.m. The house was fully engulfed in flames before the firefighters arrived.
The fire was extinguished in about an hour. North Glengarry Township firefighters also arrived to assist. The building is described as a total loss. There was no one inside the house at the time of the fire.
The OPP and South Glengarry Fire Department are investigating the cause of the fire.
