Horse & Buggy Parade returns to Vankleek Hill

After two years of virtual whinnying and braying, the Vankleek Hill Horse and Buggy Parade is returning to in-person parading. Participants will gather their horses at the Vankleek Hill Fairgrounds July 10 at 9 a.m., and the parade will start at 1:15 p.m.

Excellent Events will announce the parade routes once permission for the road closures has been granted. If the permissions aren’t granted, the parade will take place within the fairgrounds. There are also plans for an ecumenical church service under the Green Tent at the fairgrounds at 11 a.m. Participants are invited to bring food and drinks and enjoy a picnic outside while the horses are groomed and harnessed.
