The Hawkesbury OPP arrested five potential vehicle thieves in Hawkesbury. On June 4 around 2:30 a.m., officers intercepted a vehicle on Main Street in Hawkesbury. The five people inside had tools with them meant for stealing cars. They were all taken into custody. 

Roland Jeudy and Jaheed Phanor, both 18 and from Montreal, were charged with possessing break-in instruments, possessing an automobile master key tool, possessing stolen goods under $5000, three counts of failing to comply with a release order, and failure to comply with undertaking. 

Delphin Tsomba Tabona, 18, from Brampton, as well as two unnamed 17-year-old boys from Montreal, were charged with possessing break-in instruments, possessing an automobile master key tool, possessing stolen goods under $5000 value. 

The five were released from custody and are schedule to appear in the L’Orignal Court of Justice on July 6.
