Clarence-Rockland lifts state of emergency

The City of Clarence-Rockland has lifted the State of Emergency that has been in place since the catastrophic Derecho storm on May 21. Under the state of emergency, the City’s Emergency Operations Centre coordinated tree removal, the emergency shelter at the Clarence Creek arena, delivering resources to affected areas, and communicating with the public.

The City and its partners, including the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the United Counties of Prescott-Russell (UCPR), the Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU), and the Red Cross, will continue cleaning up debris and assisting residents.
