Andre and Christiane Joly of Hawkesbury have won a LOTTO 6/49 guaranteed prize worth $1,000,000. That, along with the $2 they won on their encore selection, brings their total winnings up to $1,000,002. The two purchased their ticket at Asselin’s Your Independent Grocer on Cameron Street in Hawkesbury, and it was a few days later that they checked the OLG app and found they’d won the January 26 draw.
“We told our daughter right away,” Andre said while waiting to claim their prize in Toronto.
The couple is planning to renovate their house and go on a family vacation with their winnings.
