On January 29, shortly after 06:00 a.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a fire on Rollin Road in Saint-Pascal-Baylon, Ontario. One person was transported to the hospital by the Prescott-Russell Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with non-life-threatening injuries.
Once extinguished, a search of the residence lead to recovering the body of 83-year-old Annie Hilhorst, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The OPP has concluded the investigation.
