The victim has been identified as Claude Boudreau, 59 years-old, of Laval, Quebec.
The collision occurred at around 7:47 a.m Wednesday morning. A tractor trailer was travelling eastbound on Highway 417 when, for reasons under investigation, it collided with a stationary tractor trailer in a construction zone.
Boudreau, the driver of the eastbound-moving tractor trailer, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second tractor trailer was uninjured.
Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP are investigating the crash with the help of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).
