The Ontario government is providing $139,365 towards a $4.9 million expansion at 417 Bus Line Ltd. in Casselman.  The company is expanding its operations to include a full-service maintenance and training facility, which will increase competitiveness and create jobs. 417 Bus Line Ltd. will invest $4.9-million to construct a new building with environmental upgrades to house its fleet, purchase new equipment, and provide training in marketing, engineering and computer expertise to staff. The company will hire 10 mechanics and apprentices, and will retain 100 jobs with this project. The province is providing $139,365 through the Eastern Ontario Development Fund to support the company’s investment. Partnering with local business organizations is a key component of the Open Ontario plan to create new job opportunities and promote economic growth.
